글로벌 혁신가를 양성하는 부산의 국제대학, 세계의 국제대학이 되겠습니다.

안녕하세요. Busan International College (BIC)의 정병익 학장입니다. 우리 단과대는 Educating The Next Global Innovators라는 비전을 갖고 출범하였으며 Management, Tech, Contents 3개 분야를 학문 영역으로 삼고 100% 영어로 수업하는 글로벌 혁신 대학입니다.

현재 Global Business, AI & Computer Engineering, Information System andSecurity, Mechatronics Engineering, Global Korean Studies 등 5개의 학과가있으며 다국적 교수진이 다국적 외국인 학생과 실무 지식 중심의 교육을 진행하고 있습니다.

저희 단과대학은 Teaching Innovation에 깊은 가치를 두고 있습니다. Action learning, Flipped learning, PBL (Project-based Learning) 등 혁신적인 티칭을 운영하는 전임 교수진과 아마존, 구글, 삼성 등 글로벌 기업체 출신의 전문가들로 구성된 겸임교수진이 기업현장형/ 실무 중심의 교육을 운영 중입니다.

또한, 모든 학생들이 공통으로 수강해야하는 Core Innovation 과목을 운영 중에 있으며 이는 Problem Solving: Critical Thinking and Creative Thinking, Leadership, Communication and Collaboration, Diversity, Global Citizenship and Sustainability 등으로 구성되어 있습니다. 글로벌 다국적 기업과 함께 운영하는 캡스톤 디자인 프로그램을 학과별 맞춤형으로 운영 중이며 졸업 직전에는 부산시의 히든챔피언 기업과 함께 하는 Co-op 프로젝트를 진행함으로써 외국학생의 성공적인 정착과 지역 산업의 글로벌화에도 기여할 것입니다.

대한민국의 제 2 도시이자 가장 역동적이고 살기 좋은 도시, 부산을 대표하는 국제대학으로 자리매김할 수 있도록 혁신적인 발걸음을 정진해 나가겠습니다. 감사합니다.

Teaching Excellence: Teaching is our Everything at BIC

Hello, I'm Jung Byeong-ik, the dean of the Busan International College (BIC). Our college was launched with the vision of ‘Educating The Next Global Innovators’. It is a global innovation college that focuses on Management, Tech, and Contents as academic fields, teaching exclusively in English.

Currently, we offer five departments: Global Business, AI & Computer Engineering, Information System and Security, Mechanical Engineering, and Global Korean Studies. Our multinational faculty provides practical, knowledge-oriented education to diverse international students.

Our college places a strong emphasis on Teaching Innovation. Our full-time professors employ innovative teaching methods, including Action Learning, Flipped Learning, and Project-Based Learning (PBL). Additionally, our adjunct professors, who are experts from global companies such as Amazon, Google, and Samsung, provide practical, industry-relevant education.

In addition, we offer Core Innovation courses, that all students are required to take.This course covers Problem Solving, Critical Thinking and Creative Thinking, as well as Leadership, Communication, and Collaboration. We also focus on Diversity, Global Citizenship, and Sustainability.

Our Capstone Design program, conducted in collaboration with multinational corporations, is tailored to each department's needs. Moreover, our Co-op projects with hidden champion companies in Busan aim to facilitate the successful integration of foreign students prior to graduation, and promote the globalization of local industries.

We will continue to innovate and strive to position ourselves as a leading international university representing Busan, Korea’s vibrant and dynamic second city.
